The Southern Branch of The National Palace Museum
The abbreviated name for the Southern Branch of The National Palace Museum is NPM South. It is located in Taibao City, Chiayi County. It is pretty close to the TRA Chiayi Station and the Suantou Sugar Factory. The exhibition hall is regarded as the exhibition center of Asian art and culture. It mainly exhibits the Asian art and culture, and sets up a theme garden, artificial lake, and hotels. The museum style is composed of three linear masses by incorporating three different types of Chinese calligraphy known as dark ink, flying white or kasuri and render. Some animals like the dragon, the elephant and the horse were used for design, which reflects the cultural exchange among Greater China, India and Persian Empire. Inside the museum, there are five exhibition halls as well as one multimedia exhibition hall, one feature exhibition hall, one loan exhibition hall and the Children's Creative Center.

Guanziling Hot Spring
Guanziling has one of the rarest muddy hot springs in the world. Currently, this kind of mud hot spring can only be found in Sicily in Italy, Kagoshima in Japan and Guanziling in Taiwan. Even in early Taiwan, under Japanese rule, the Tainan Guanziling Hot Spring, Sizhongxi Hot Spring, Beitou Hot Spring and Yangmingshan Hot Spring were listed as the four famous hot springs in Taiwan. The Hou-Bi Togo Village
Located in the Hou-Bi District in Tainan, the village is the hometown for the champion rice. Its name comes from a channel that crosses over the entire village. It used to be a small rural village as ordinary and as simple as any other village. It has transformed into the first rural village art museum in Taiwan after the community-based art rehabilitation a decade ago, its design focuses on creating a concept of “village as museum and museum as village.” Its corner, meadow and the harvested rice paddy fields are all perfect places for art exhibitions that would never fade away.

Happy Rice Community and Jingliao Old Street
It used to be the most prosperous village in Tainan, which is now the Hou-Bi Jing Liao Old Street. In 2009, it was awarded as the No. 1 national rural village for its great performance. In 2011, it was awarded the Bronze Medal Award for the “Int’l Garden City Award” since it is the perfect place for people to live in an international city. There is a strong atmosphere of the simple, rustic village. The Shui Shang Nanching Sugar Factory (TRA Nanching Station)
Located on the opposite side of TRA Nanching Station, the sugar factory was built in 1908 (before Minguo). It was one of the three largest sugar factories built for export in the Early Revival Period. Later, it transformed into a leisure industry. Currently, inside the factory, there is a leisure plaza in addition to the flower expo center and leisure auction, based on the planning. Inside the factory, there's a century-old locomotive in addition to the railway carriage, and water playground that has been exclusively established. The “Flower Expo Center” exhibits the butterfly orchids planted by Taisugar for everyone to take a look at leisure.

Guanziling Lingding Park
The Installation art known as “Blessings under Streetlight” at the Lingding Park is a perfect place for all couples to visit at night while enjoying the romantic clipart of a heart-shaped shadow reflected on the big music book. The popular song “Love of Guanziling” was added to the music book; it has made Guanziling one of the most popular places for photo shoots.

The Baihe Lotus Festival
“Northern Guanyin and southern Baihe” are the two tourist attractions to see the lotus flowers. The most famous place to find these lotus flowers is in Baihe, Tainan. Oga Lotus, Jian-Lian Lotus, Houseleek, White Lotus and Nymphaea Lotus are the most common species ever planted. The Baihe Lotus Festival can be a big summer event in Tainan area. The best time to watch the flowers is from June to August. The local lotus growers suggest that the best time to watch the lotus flowers is from 5am to 10am. It is the best time to see the lotus presenting its most beautiful posture for the day. It has attracted much attention from the lotus-lovers who come to the place and take pictures.
